Very pleasant owners - excellent gourmet restaurant.
Rooms slightly disappointing considering the cost.

The room was excellent lovely bed and very clean, a great concept to have the rooms independant of the hotel, set in the gardens. Lovely gardens we were very impressed with what was achieved on a wild cevennnes garrigue landscape, and without compromising the natural beauty of the area.
The dinner was most dissappointing we expected a gourment meal but it was lacking in flavour , presentation and interest. Although much was made of the combinations of flavours by the waiter. The general service was excellent, but as we were english we felt we are not given the same treatment, the english menu gave no details on the contents of the special menus, but as we live and speak french we asked for the french menu , a totally different menu but it was extremely traditional . We came for a meal that we could not have produced ourselves so we were very dissapointed! For breakfast we were encouraged to eat boiled eggs, fresh from the garden the egg was 2 weeks old when I mentioned to the staff, she said they were collected regularly

A wonderful experience. The location, the grounds, the bedrooms, the food and wine, everything was superb. A special word of praise to the owner for making us feel so welcome together with his wife and waiting staff. Thoroughly recommended!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Le Ranquet. The owners are very friendly and efficient. The staff is great and the accomodations were wonderful. We will be back.
I think you need to add the large pot outside with flowers like last year. This is a very nice touch. The pot and flowers were not there like before.

Restaurant was good.
Room is too simple, not comfortable enough for the price charge for this location.

Secluded location in natural surroundings but close enough to local towns. The dining was excellent, alfresco style. Breakfast was served in your private outdoor area, very French and tranquil.
